Mine are most definitely ‘for’ as I truly believe that I am returning some of the spiritual energy I receive from a site back to the Nature that inspires me to create my images”
Burton’s creative process begins with extensive preliminary observation:
Absorption, immersion within his chosen landscape via endless exploration, walking and sketching.
The information gathered is then distilled into a field of multi- layered marks, with a deliberate restricted colour palette, from which with a quiet sensibility emerges the final sophisticated image.
Brian has exhibited widely in his ‘adopted’ Yorkshire and has paintings in private and corporate collections throughout the UK, Europe and North America.
