This is an oil painting on canvas size 45cm x 55cm.  The subject was intended to be used as one of a series of demonstrations to a local art group but wasn’t used as an actual live demonstration because the lock-down interrupted the sequence of events.  So that I could give the group an idea of the process and the finished work I decided to experiment with time-lapse photography of the painting process.  Using free software off the internet I then converted the stills into a short video with a music accompaniment.  It was an absorbing and interesting process and added an extra bit of learning during the dull days of the early lock-down.
