X 45 cm.] into 45 cm. squares. It was \u201cdestructive\u201d and \u201ccreative\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patrick Caulfield had a stack of spotted plates in one work.&nbsp; I \u201cresponded\u201d &#8211; fixing an actual plate onto a 45 cm square board with a regular spotted arrangement extending onto the background.
