I have looked through my portfolio of past work. The two images I created Autumn 2010 reflect a time when I was experimenting with using economy of line and colour. I just looked at the contrast of light and dark but I also tried to create an illusion of reality by making individual marks that seen alone were abstract and did resemble anything in reality.
