This view of West Nab is a few yards from my home at the start of a local lockdown walk on the edge of the Pennines. In the first 10 weeks of lockdown I did this walk 42 times and made lots of other sketches along the way, of animals plants and birds, and also from my garden. It’s a sort of diary but is still unfinished. I am exhibiting work in the Lockdown Exhibition‘Solus’, at Art in the Mill, Green Dragon Yard, Knaresborough HG5 8AU 01423 862963. Showcasing artworks created during lockdown, originally 1 – 25th August, the exhibition has now been extended until the end of September. It also includes work by other LFA members Annie Robinson and Jane Burgess.
