Barnsley in Sight is an exhibition of new work created especially for the Cooper Gallery by one of Yorkshires longest established art societies, Leeds Fine Artists. It focuses on areas, landscapes, industries, urbanisation or buildings uncommonly featured, and often overlooked by better known landmarks around the Borough. Artists choose to use any variety of mediums within their area of practice, either 2d or 3d.

The exhibition aims to offer an element of surprise or reminder to visitors through the artworks on display.
