Inspired by Sir George Clausen RA’s painting Trees, I have explored the artist’s much quoted dictum that: “light is the most important person in a picture”.
Showcase is a major exhibition across all Dean Clough’s gallery spaces that displays, as never before, the diversity and excellence of the visual arts across the Northern region.
As lockdown finally lifts, galleries are at last able to re-open their doors and socially-distanced, live exhibitions can slowly recommence.
Over the winter months, I have been busy preparing and moving into my new studio. It is a much larger, brighter space and it’s an absolute joy to be settled into working there at last.
