The images here of Lee’s work are part of a postponed exhibition marking the centenary of the end of the 1910/20 Mexican Civil War. The paintings and drawings are a response to the photographic record of an important part of Mexico’s social and political history, a record that also draws disturbing parallels with the troubles in many countries around the world today.
