Recently installed and running for an indefinite period, Pamela has a solo show entitled “Painting – On Musical Terms” in the Steinway Gallery, Besbrode Piano Shop, 39 Holbeck Lane, Holbeck, Leeds, LS11 9UL
Pamela Anne Briggs, is exhibiting four works with Northern Fringe touring exhibition “Yorkshire Makers Inspired by Yorkshire Writers” from her recent series “Ancient Egypt” in the Bridge Gallery at Queen’s Mill, Castleford, WF10 1JL, from 5th to 26th March 2022.
Pamela Briggs is exhibiting with members of the Northern Fringe in “Yorkshire Makers Inspired By Yorkshire Writers” at the Creative Arts Hub, Mirfield.
Before, during, and after lockdown I’ve been working on my Red and Green Series. My method of working is sequential, in working drawings I run with ideas originally inspired by ancient pattern formulas, which develop into many possibilities that I have then to narrow down in choices for finished work.
